Hill & Smith Barriers (soon to be Brackmore Barriers) offer a variety of end terminals designed to safely terminate their barrier systems. These end terminals are crucial for minimising the risk of severe injuries and vehicle damage in the event of a collision. Complementing our range of VRS system we offer P1, P2 and P4 fully tested end terminal solutions.
In addition to this we can also offer the Non- Proprietary TCB & OBB end terminals which are deemed acceptable for use on the Highways England Trunk Road Network on roads with a speed limit less than 50 mph. In addition, the terminals can be used on the departure end of safety barriers where the terminal does not face oncoming traffic, and the speed limit is 50mph or more
P1 Terminals For use on roads with a speed limit of less than 50mph, or departure ends on roads above 50mph (see CD 377 for guidance).
There are two terminals in the Flexbeam range, one single sided and one double sided, both with a class code of D1 .1.
